Meet Jo Speirs

Award-winning Australian romance author

Joanne Speirs didn't set out to become a romance authorβ€”life just had other ideas. A farm-raised girl from South Australia's Eyre Peninsula who grew up wrangling sheep with her dad and quietly raiding her mum's Mills & Boon shelf, she found her way to writing when she needed it most.

Now she writes the kind of small-town stories she always neededβ€”set along the Australian coast and on the snowy streets of Leavenworth USA, built on second chances, slow-burn love, and the found families and communities that hold us together.

She lives in Adelaide with her two grown sons, her husband, and their border collie Zeb.
